Description:
New Cultural Networking Site, the Facebook of ideas Be an Angel and Change the World.
Hi ,
My team and I have a project to build a social networking site around ideas and culture. Current valuation metrics and the lack of a flagship cultural networking site make this a very interesting project. Below is a link to an excel with funding requirements and projected returns and a dossier on the site.
We are very experienced group, all with Director level skills and experience. An idea like this one, with the team we have, makes for a very interesting proposition. We are all very numbers driven, and we need an angel investor who is very comfortable talking about metrics.
The philosophy behind www.theworldvenue.com can be found in the posts of the blog, www.thecactusland.com We are convinced that Web 2.0 is still in its infancy, and that sites like Facebook and Linkedin are only the beginning. There is something much bigger coming, more powerful and we think we have it. Of course there will be big returns, but the real payoff is in how we can change the world. We want to build the Facebook/LinkeIn about ideas, culture, and politics. Not only a place to meet, and discuss, but also a place to organize around those ideas.
I look forward to further discussing this opportunity with you.
Thank you for your time.
